A young Jewish man assaulted a policeman after receiving a fine on Sunday morning, 13 Sivan from a Jerusalem light rail security agent. Police explain a policeman saw the passenger arguing with a light rail agent and he approached. The passenger then attacked the policeman and injured him lightly in a hand.

Eyewitnesses report an argument erupted between a light rail agent who decided to fine the passenger, who apparently did not pay his fare. B”H the policeman’s injuries were only light. He was treated and released and he did not require hospitalization.

The attacker was taken into custody by police.
