Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman back at work and one of his first acts is to return the fluorinated water that was eliminated by former Health Minister Yael German. Litzman has given the word to once again fluorinate the water nationwide.
Officials in Litzman’s office report the decision is strictly professional, void of any political considerations, a decision the minister hopes will improve dental hygiene for citizens.
German commented on the decision explaining she views this as giving a drug to citizens without asking their permission.

It’s fluoridated, not flourinated, and what’s added is fluoride. And yes, I do agree that Yael German was wrong to stop the fluoridating of Israeli water.

Can anyone explain to me why he disregards the informed public’s wishes to not be forced to ingest fluoride which is a poison? Research it for yourselves if you’ve never heard there is a real problem with it.

In addition to fluoridated water, each child should be provided with an electric toothbrush. This will pay for itself and allow children to grow up without tooth decay.
