Justice Minister (Bayit Yehudi) is getting down to business and she is pushing a law that will significantly increase the punishment for convicted rock-throwers.
Her bill presented to the Ministerial Law Committee would carry a prison term of ten years for throwing rocks and unlike the current law, it would not differentiate between one who throws a rock out of protest or one who throws a rock with the intention to kill. The current law carries a maximum prison term of up to 20 years.
Shaked’s bill also differentiates between targeting civilians and civilian vehicles as opposed to law-enforcement personnel and vehicles, with the latter carrying an even more serious punishment.

they should shoot to kill them when they throw rocks!
#1 faker: No, this bill is intended for Arabs. The chareidim don’t throw rocks.
