A child was left in a vehicle on an extremely hot morning in Petach Tikvah on Wednesday, 9 Sivan. Just a few hours later Ichud Hatzalah reported a second case, this time in Ramat Gan. B’chasdei Hashem, as in the first case, the child was alive and not seriously injured from the oppressive heat. Ambient temperatures in Israel were well over 100 F in most cities.
Ichud Hatzalah EMT Nati Berger explains “When I arrived on the scene I saw a girl inside a vehicle and the keys were inside. Persons smashed a window and the child was taken out of the vehicle, in good condition. The girl was checked on the scene and then transported to a local hospital to be examined by doctors.
Ichud Hatzalah continues drivers to take the extra moment and always check that no one is left inside a vehicle, not even for a minute, especially during these exceptionally hot days.
