Good news according to Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), reporting unemployment has fallen to an all-time low, 4.9% as the number of working Israelis has hit an all-time high. The record-breaking level was achieved in April 2015. Among men, unemployment dropped to 4.9% in April, down from 5.2% and for women, 4.7%, down from 5.4% in March.
The CBS report adds that the number of Israelis employed in April 2015 reached 3.64 million, or 60.9%. The national workforce is comprised of 1.9 million men and 1.74 million women.

Remember this when Israelis come here with their hand out and you get letters from organizations which start “because of the difficult economic times”. Our unemployment is far higher, we should be going to Israel to collect for our organizations.
