MK (Labor) Amir Peretz was compelled to cancel his planned trip to Morocco next week where he was planning to take part in a regional conference of parliamentarians.

Party leader MK Yitzchak Herzog did not give Peretz permission to participate in the conference, compelling him to cancel his ticket.

Officials in Peretz’s office told the media he canceled his planned participation because he feels he cannot absent himself from Knesset activities at this time as the various Knesset committees are being set up.
