Justin Zemser’s passing was a terrible loss for the entire Jewish people. He was humble despite all of his incredible talents and capabilities. May we learn from his incredible attributes and accept upon ourselves to do something meaningful in his memory.
May his neshama have an aliyah, and may Hashem grant solace and peace to his wonderful dear parents.
The 21-year-old resident of Far Rockaway, Queens, was one of the eight victims in the Amtrak crash in Philadelphia this week.
Justin was studying at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and on his way back home. He was an only child.
The Achiezer Organization was responsible for preventing any autopsy, and arranged for the local medical examiner to expedite the release of the body.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing! What a Kiddush Hashem!
Does anyone know where this family is sitting Shiva ? My wife and I feel we must go !
Of course, it’s tragic that Justin died in the crash.
Seven other people did too — including Rachel Jacobs, who also was Jewish.
Why ignore them?
May the dear parents find solace at least with the knowledge that so many lives were touched by their dear Justin, Ephraim Yaakov ben Chaim Shmuel.
