A 24-year-old chosson who decided to visit Har Habayis ahead of his chupah on Sunday night 21 Iyar 5775 was arrested earlier in the day. Police who accompanied the Jewish group on the holy site told his colleagues upon leaving Har Habayis that the was the chosson davening while walking around. The chosson was promptly arrested and detained by police, hours before his Sunday evening chasenah.
The chosson is being represented by an attorney provided by Honenu.
Gedolei HaPoskim throughout the ages including Gedolei Hador Shlita today have ruled it is absolutely forbidden to visit Har Habayis, even if one does so in line with Halacha including tevila. This is also the ruling of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. This is an Issur Kares.

Is the purpose of this article the news about the Choson or a jab at the hslachos of visiting Har Habayit?
He’s not a chosson. He’s a chassid shotah!!!!
If they are going up according to Halacha, they could not be chayav Kares!
