In what is a surprise to many chassidim, the Belzer Rebbe Shlita is planning a trip abroad. After havdalah the rebbe recited the pesukim from Parshas Vayishlach that are recited prior to a trip abroad. It has been learned the rebbe this week plans to travel to Belz in the Ukraine for tefilos at the kevarim of his ancestors.
Gabbai HaRav HaChossid Eliezer Winder announced on Sunday morning 21 Iyar to chassidim that the rebbe will be leaving and no one, including those with foreign passports will accompany the rebbe for the journey is only for family members and gabbaim.

What does having a foreign passport have anything to do with whether someone travels with him?
