Earlier on Monday 15 Iyar, IDF officials released a statement that three soldiers were injured when their armored personnel carrier flipped over during operations in the Golan Heights. On Monday afternoon the IDF Spokesman’s Office added that a fourth soldier was injured and is listed in serious condition. He was transported from the scene in a military helicopter. The other three soldiers are listed in light condition.
The incident occurred in the southern Golan Heights near a military base. The seriously injured solider was air lifted to Ziff Hospital in Tzfas, another was transported to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa and the remaining two were treated in the field.
Elsewhere in the Golan Heights, the IDF has declared the area along the border near Zivan in the N. Golan a ‘closed military zone’ after yet another mortar fire incident from Syria. IDF officials explain the mortar shells were not an actual attack but spillover from the Syrian Civil war.

Put it down to poor training. Every APC driver is supposed to be taught that the vehicle can only traverse a 35-degree incline. Steeper than that, over she goes.
