MK (Yahadut Hatorah) Menachem Eliezer Moses visited Meron ahead of Lag B’Omer together with a contingent of Israel Traffic Police officials. They visited Meron and the surrounding area including park in lots and command centers of various organizations in place ahead of Lag B’Omer.

The delegation participants reviewed maps of how buses will be routed in, parking arrangement and other logistics surrounding the major operation as over 200,000 people are expected to make their way to the tziyun of the Rashbi in the coming days.

Moses reminded police officials that last year on motzei Lag B’Omer, 40,000 people came down from the mountain at the same time, literally closing down the area roads. He expressed his hope that this will be avoided this year and that the vehicular routes will remain open at all times.
