At least 5 people have been shot at a Brooklyn church Monday evening – reportedly during a funeral.
NYPD sources confirmed to YWN that the shooting occured at 1356 Flatbush Avenue at Foster Avenue at the Emanuel Church.
Two of the victims were likely to die.
Meanwhile, a shooting victim walked into Kings County Hospital a short while later. It appears he may have been at at the same incident – making this a total of 6 people shot.
The suspects are reportedly 3 males who fled.
NYPD has a Level 1 Mobilization requested, and a heavy crime scene has been secured.

Thanks Bloomberg for easing the regs. During the Stop and Frisk era these incidents were farther and fewer between.

I would assume it was gang related. I’d advise everyone to stay far away from gang members funerals as they can turn deadly.
