If nothing changes on erev Shabbos, Yahadut Hatorah appears to be ready to sign a coalition agreement with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday.
If this does occur as it appears likely to be the case, Yahadut Hatorah will be the first party to sign a coalition agreement with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. The agreement in place today stipulate that MK Moshe Gafne will serve as head of the Knesset Finance Committee as was the case in the 18th Knesset.

The agreement stipulates the repeal of the draft law!!
Being chairman of a committee like that is good – he’ll be able to perhaps shift money to the military prisons which is where most hareidim of a certain age will be living next year.
Patronage is nice, but getting changes in policy would be easier to do if one doesn’t “hog” the patronage. Let the hilonim have their patronage, as long as one gets favorable policies.
Forget about the committees; what about the issues (i.e. the draft and child support)?
