Two men were found dead on a section of Long Island Rail Road freight tracks, Thursday evening, police say.

At around 7:50PM police responded to a report of two unconscious males on the LIRR freight car tracks in the vicinity of 61 Street and 15 Avenue, within the confines of the 66 Precinct.

Upon arrival, responding officers discovered two Hispanic males unconscious in the tracks roadbed, approximately 10 feet from each other.

EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced the a males deceased.

The Medical Examiner will determined the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
