DeG Productions is excited to release the much anticipated “A Kumzitz In The Rain 2” for Sefira 2015. This brand new album, produced by Doni Gross, combines inspiring tones of classic kumzitz with unique acapella harmonies, blending intimately familiar melodies together with a new warmth and feel. Real voices, real inspiration, and true acapella sound make this album the album that will drive you through Sefira.
“A Kumzitz In The Rain 2” re-imagines familiar hits and also introduces a new song composed by the producer. All sound comes from the kings of kumzitz themselves, and many surprise guest vocals. You will find yourself singing along with this genre-creating collection of harmonies. Hear Shlomo Simcha, Michoel Pruzansky, Rivie & Avrumi Schwebel, Ari Goldwag, Tzvi Silberstein, Shloime Kaufman and others in ways you have never heard them before. Go ahead, get your copy, and move yourself. This album uses real unaltered vocals in arrangements that highlight the spirit of the Sefira. The album is available whereever jewish music is sold, and can be downloaded oniTunes https://itunes.apple.

Cant we just do without any form of singing/music during the mourning period of Sefirah?
finally a real acapella without the silly boom bam ptz ftz pow … sounds. Sounds good. Good job on the song selection
WOW!!!
This is a beautiful album! Im going to buy it right now…
So appropriate for sefira…
This is absolutely the most beautiful acapella CD I’ve ever heard. It’s inspiring and uplifting, done in the true sefira way without any beats. I bought the original Kumzitz in the rain CD afew years ago and I keep it in my car and listen to it all the time. I purchased this one right before yomtov and if it’s even possible I love it even more. Very rarely do I hear a CD that inspires me the way this series has. Extremely well done. Thank you.
Oy, how niskatnu hadoros. We cant even abstain from music for three weeks without having all this “sefirah” music publicized and sold.
I believe it was the MaHarShag who said that one may listen to music if it relieves his/her stress.
I used to agree with you Talmud chacham and Git meshiga. And I wouldnt ever purchase a CD during this time. However this CD is not a music CD. The Kumzitz songs are heartfelt and inspiring. It actually gets me MORE into the sefira mode. No other acapella CD has EVER moved me this way!!
