A sharav heatwave is expected throughout Israel on Wednesday, 19 Nissan. In many or most areas of the country, temperatures will be 30C (86F) or higher.
Following a number of pleasant spring days, temperatures will increase significantly on Wednesday. In Eilat, the high is expected to reach 38C (100.4F), Ein Gedi 37 (98.6F), Tiveria, Jordan Valley and Beit Shean 36 (96.8), and 32 (89.6) in Tel Aviv.
Despite the sharp increase in temperatures, it will be getting much cooler for the last day of yomtov and Shabbos. Temperatures will drop and the sharav will end by Thursday, and on erev Shabbos, temperatures are expected to drop significantly, to the 50sF in Yerushalayim accompanied by local showers in the north and in coastal areas. Shabbos will be unseasonable cold with local showers in many areas.

Good forecast, unfortunately it was true. And we will have more rain tomorrow & a high of 48. Crazy!
