With just over a week left until Pesach, hundreds of individuals that are wheat or gluten intolerant are still without matzos. The shortage of matzos this year has been a concern for many families. Specifically those with celiac disease, rely on gluten free oat matzos for the seder night.
For many, this is the only time during the year that they make the brocho of HaMotzei.
In a last minute effort to solve this dilemma, the celiac foundation of Bnei Brak is getting ready to bake another batch of gluten free oat machine matza. At the same time, the Lakewood Matza bakery is making efforts to solve the shortage of spelt matza in Eretz Yisroel.
The Lakewood Matza Bakery will be flying in hand spelt matza produced in the Lakewood bakery, as well as shipping back spelt machine matza which was baked in Eretz Yisroel.
