The report citing expenditures of MKs from the outgoing 19th Knesset has been released. Following is a look at the shopping habits of the chareidi Members of Knesset. The award for spending the most goes to Eli Yishai, who used 66,275 of his budget.

One of the biggest expenses claimed by MKs is allocated to maintain the connection with voters. This is reelected in the facts and figures released in the report. The report states Eli Yishai spent 66,275 NIS, including 13,443 on communications/media, 13,140 on salaries, 13,310 on consultations, 10,620 on his parliamentary office. He had a larger budget that the other chareidi MKs, 85,533 NIS since he had money remaining from the previous year.

Yahadut Hatorah MK Eliezer Menachem Moses:

Spent 64,635 NIS with most going for his office; 60,000 NIS.

Shas MK Avraham Michaeli:

63,040 including 31,468 on his office, 6,157 on office supplies and 17,234 office maintenance.

Shas MK Amnon Cohen:

61,331, including 18,997 on his office, 13,551 on office supplies, and 7,693 on computer maintenance.

Yahadut Hatorah MK Uri Maklev:

49,578, including 11,086 on salaries, 10,426 on communications/media and 5,820 on refreshments.

Yahadut Hatorah MK Yisrael Eichler:

43,179, including 18,200 on printing and advertisement, 7,645 on a computer and 3,956 on a phone.

Yahadut Hatorah MK Meir Porush:

34,853, including 11,851 on communications/media and 9,369 on printing and advertisement.

Shas MK Nissim Ze’ev:

34,713, including 8,531 for office supplies, 5,872 communications/media, 5,481 communications/media and 2,718 on internet memberships.

29,294, including 18,000 for renting an office and 2,687 for pager rental.

Shas MK Yoel Ben-Tzur:

18,541, including 4,005 for office expenses, 4,359 office expenses, 2647 for newspaper subscriptions and 2,896 for internet memberships.

18,041, including 9.468 for a kenos and 3,540 for professional consult.

Shas MK Yitzchak Cohen:

11,600 including 5,000 to rent an office and 2,209 for newspapers.

8,585, including 3,400 for a cellular telephone, 949 for lodging and 99 for communications.

7,828, including 4,204 for newspapers and 3,414 for office supplies.

7,241, including 2,562 on office supplies and 1,122 for refreshments.

PM Netanyahu: 537 NIS for internet memberships.

Former Finance Minister Yair Lapid: 169 NIS for office supplies.

Yesh Atid MK Dov Lipman: 58,488, including 31,242 for an internet site and social networks.

The leading spender in the 19th Knesset was Balad MK Zahalka, who spent 109,078 NIS.

Opposition leader Labor MK Yitzchak Herzog spent 23,177 NIS and Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein spent 29,733 NIS.
