Police Case Against MK Slomiansky Dropped Due to Lack of Evidence


SlomianskyIsrael Police officials have announced they are closing the case against MK (Bayit Yehudi) Nissim Slomiansky due to a lack of evidence.

The investigation surrounded allegations that Slomiansky bought votes in the party’s primaries back in 2012. Police made the decision together with Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan.

However they decided to hand the evidence gathered in the case will be given to State Comptroller Yosef Shapira since the documents include illegal expenses and Slomiansky’s failure to report certain activities and expenses.

  1. I hope Slomiansky turns around and sues the police for ruining his ability to run in the elections.

    In reality his party was hit hard because of many investigations. It should be brought out just who and why was a decision make to start public investigations when it was obvious to all that it would ruin their chances for the elections.
