Tonight in Midwood, there will be a community fire safety training and free smoke detector giveaway in memory of the Sassoon children Z”L. The event will take place at PS 193 (Gil Hodges), 2515 Aveue L at the corner of Bedford Avenue from 7:00 – 9:30PM.

The event is being hosted by Brooklyn Boro President Eric Adams, Councilman Chaim Deutsch, Council-Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, Comptroller Scott Stringer, Public Advocate Letitia James, and many other elected officials.

Leading Jewish community organizations are behind the event, including Flatbush Hatzolah, Misaskim and others.
