Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto on Tuesday, 26 Adar, underwent brain surgery in a New York City hospital. Man of his followers were in the hospital, davening for his refuah.

On Thursday, 28 Adar, a hearing is set in the Tel Aviv District Court which Rabbi Pinto is supposed to attend. All requests from his attorneys to postpone his appearance were rejected by the court. The court stated the medical documentation submitted was insufficient, requesting additional documents from the rabbi’s lawyers. The rabbi’s attorneys asked for an urgent hearing to discuss postponing the hearing.

The rav has undergone at least one additional major surgery this month.

The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Yoshiyahu Yosef ben Zari bsoch sha’ar cholei yisrael.
