Proposed changes to legislation could stop Hatzola in the UK from being able to drive their private vehicles using blue lights and sirens.
Hatzola in the UK currently has five seperate Hatzola’s. North West London, North London, Edgware, Manchester, Gateshead.
This could impact Hatzola’s ability to act quickly when saving lives.
The bill is being rushed through in February that would prevent private providers being able to use blue lights/siren exemptions in any circumstances on the public highway, unless directly providing services to the NHS.
If enacted, this will put patients at immediate risk. By excluding both private and voluntary providers, the government is effectively introducing this legislation to stop a lawful activity going on which saves lives every week.
Please take the time to click ON THIS LINK and petition parliament regarding the planned changes to the law.

Must be a resident of the UK to sign.
HEADS UP! Petition can only be signed by legal residents or citizens of The UK!
Just check you’re a resident. They aren’t asking for your social security number.
The wording of the passage through commons and lords almost looks like it was an accident to exclude Hatzolah.

shows that the intent apparently was to permit NHS ambucycles and motorbikes to use the lights, but may be excluding Hatzoloh almost by accident.
