HaRav Dov Lior Shlita has sent a letter to roshei yeshivos instructing them to permit talmidim to assist the Yachad party on Election Day. He explains that doing do is a matter of kovod Hatorah and kovod Eretz Yisrael, that it should not be turned over to non-Jews.

The rav explains that Yachad candidates answer this criteria and therefore efforts must be made to assist and support the party.
