Former New York Gov. George Pataki and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham will speak before hundreds of business leaders at Nashua’s annual Wild Irish Breakfast in return trips to New Hampshire as they both consider presidential bids.
Pataki and Graham will speak at the breakfast, typically crafted as a roast, Tuesday morning alongside New Hampshire’s Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan. Both Republicans are considered longshot candidates to win the party’s nomination among a field of well-known, well-funded governors and U.S. Senators with national name recognition. Pataki has been traveling to the state repeatedly for months, and Graham made his first trip last week.
The breakfast, one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day events in New England, typically features politicians looking to impress audiences in the first-in-the-nation primary state.
