A man trying to steal lots of medicine was apprehended by Williamsburg Shomrim, late Monday afternoon.
Sources tell YWN that a manager at the Hatzlacha Grocery located at 414 Flushing Avenue near Skillman Street noticed a suspicious black male walking around the store with a basket full of Tylenol and Advil. The man suddenly ran out of the store with his basket of pain-killers.
Williamsburg Shomrim (WSPU) along with the NYPD were called to respond. Shomrim arrived in seconds followed by the NYPD. By the time they arrived, a large crowd had already gathered on the street and surrounded the suspect, preventing him from leaving.
The man was taken into custody without further incident, along with his full basket of medicine as evidence.
