Rosh Yeshivat Porat Yosef HaGaon Rav Moshe Tzadka Shlita is furious over the forged letter bearing his name which speaks out against the Yachad party. It is a well-known fact that Rav Tzadka never involves himself in politics, however a letter was written a number of days ago which was taken by someone and used in an inappropriate fashion.
The letter written by the rav stated “I do not involve myself in politics but there is a matter not connected to the elections, and this is always our obligation – to continue in the path of our fathers and rabbonim and to separate from any hashkafa that negates the Torah we have learned.
“It is our job to be engaged exclusively in Torah and Kedushas Torah and to be wary of any unwanted influences and I was shocked to learn there is chas v’sholom a voice that says otherwise, negating what we received from our rabbonim…”
Someone used the rav’s letter and turned it around in his name, speaking out strongly against the Yachad party. The forged letter was published far and wide to influence potential Shas voters.
In an interview with Kikar Shabbos the rav states he never wrote any such letter against Yachad and regarding the persons responsible, he will not moichel them ever, “not in this world or in Olam Haba”.

In an interview with Kikar Shabbos the rav states he never wrote any such letter against Shas
you might mean FOR SHAS
or AGAINST YACHAD
whoever wrote this article please proof read! Was the letter against shas or yachad?
YWN can’t you seem to get things straight?
Hire a proof reader…
It says “the rav states he never wrote any such letter against Yachad”. Seems clear enough to me.
The way that Shas-supporters have acted throughout the time leading to the election has been deplorable. By contrast, Yachad was at pains to not say anything negative or do anything untoward.
If parties are judged by their supporters’ behavior,Yachad wins even if it loses the election. They’ve made HKB”H proud.
