lapSpeaking at a Shabbos election gathering in Rishon L’Tzion, Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid told his audience that both Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Yitzchak Herzog have promised chareidim to amend the chareidi draft law to the liking of the chareidi tzibur. He explained if Yesh Atid receive sufficient votes and is essential to form a government, only then will he have the needed political strength required to prevent this from occurring.

Lapid told his audience that both of the leading premiership candidates have already sold out to chareidim.

In Rehovot, the tires of the vehicles of the city’s Yesh Atid leader and his wife were slashed on Shabbos. Both vehicles were displaying party signs. Police are investigating. No arrests have been reported.

Talk about apologizing before Yom Kippur. But this is probably not what you had in mind.

Israeli Finance Minister Yair Lapid, in a post on his Facebook page on Erev Yom Kippur, apologized for not yet drafting chareidim, initiating civil marriage and providing public transportation on Shabbos.
