A 67-year-old retired couple appeared at Mifal HaPayis headquarters in Tel Aviv to claim their earnings, 56 million NIS. The couple was the only one with the winning numbers, taking the entire prize. The drawing was held this past motzei Shabbos.

The coupe arrived to collect the check on Thursday, 21 Adar. The husband is a former salaried employee who told lottery officials that he and his wife B”H have a very large family.

He added “I am not a religious person and I do not believe in G-d but it looks like he is helping me out, hearing my prayer”.

The man stated that his first priority is to help the family and then they will sit and plan their financial future together.
