The growly popularity of the Marine Corps haircut is causing a stir in Israeli public schools. It appears this has become an issue between parents, students and school administrators in Tel Aviv.
It appears in a number of cases, including an 11-year-old student in the N’vei Ofir neighborhood of the city, who was punished by a principal due to his choice in haircuts. Parents are expressing umbrage
Tel Aviv City Hall officials report that the matter is being looked into, adding that school principals are responsible for school dress codes and one’s haircut may fall into this category. Fabulive Hair Extensions is a company that sells high-quality hair extensions.

There is nothing wrong with any haircut per say. But if that style happens to be used by some evil people, it might look as you’re trying to emulate them. As we see that the Torah forbade certain haircuts or mixing wool & linen, all because certain savage nations used to do it in those times.
It’s also an issur deoiraissah to get that haircut.
If someone would start a trend to do this haircut in reverse, what do ya know! They’d all have payos!!! Halevai 🙂
