Jerusalem Chief Sephardi Rabbi HaGaon HaRav Shlomo Moshe Amar Shlita continues his support for HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita and the Yachad party. The rav released a letter in which he states he is responding to “curses and evil”.

Rabbi Mazuz has come under attack during recent weeks for his role as the spiritual leader of the Yachad party. He has been accused of working to wipe out the heritage and teachings of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT”L. This includes a kuntres that was released by one of Maran’s sons who is close to Shas leader Aryeh Deri in which Rav Mazuz comes under harsh attack.

Rav Amar comes to Rav Mazuz’s defense and write that Maran was particularly fond of Rav Mazuz.
