An Egged bus traveling near the Old City of Yerushalayim was attacked by Arabs hurling rocks earlier Tuesday afternoon, 19 Adar. A number of windows were broken in the attack and one passenger sustained light injuries.

Magen David Adom EMS personnel treated the victim on the scene. Police are combing the area for suspects. A 15-year-old male was taken into custody, suspected of perpetrating the attack.

Attacks of late have been occurring with increased frequency in the capital, as well as almost daily rock-throwing attacks against the Jerusalem light rail in Arab areas including Shuafat.
