The NYPD and FDNY are currently operating at the scene of a major accident in Manhattan. The crash is reportedly at the Henry Hudson Parkway under the George Washington Bridge. FDNY reports that a mini-bus has rolled off a 25 foot embankment and overturned. Numerous victims are pinned in the vehicle, and extrication is underway. The number of occupants is unknown at this time.

The bus was heading on a ramp connecting the Henry Hudson Parkway to the bridge on Manhattan’s west side when it slid down the embankment north of Fort Washington Park, authorities say.

NBC New York says that chopper footage from the scene shows the bus sitting upright in a small wooded area.

FDNY has removed two patients and are searching for others.
