Two Betar Illit youths were taken into custody on Monday evening 11 Adar suspected of starting garbage fires in the city. According to police the youths are suspected of setting no less than 18 garbage bins ablaze. The report states that 15 fires were started on motzei Shabbos in the ‘Givah A’ area of the city and three others on Sunday night.

The two suspects in custody are minors. Police signal additional arrests are expected.
