5:20PM EST: The NYPD is looking for a suspect who attempted to rob a bank on 13th Avenue, Thursday afternoon.
Sources tell YWN that a suspect entered the CitiBank located at 5420 13th Avenue near 54th Street, and passed a note to the bank teller demanding that money be handed over. The teller refused, and the suspect fled the bank on foot. The NYPD requested a Level 1 Mobilization response, and officers are searching the area.
The suspect is reportedly a white male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black jacket, and a black hood.
No further information was immediately available.

Finally, a bank teller that doesn’t melt because of a note.
It’s the new style today; simply hand a note to the teller and walk out with cash. The tellers should simply refuse. If the guy is serious about it, let him show the weapon. If he’s not man enough to do that, then take a hike, pal.
