There were heavy snow accumulations in areas of northern Israel in the Rosh Chodesh Adar 5775 snow storm. The snowfall began on Thursday and left its mark in Meron and around the area of the tziyun of the Rashbi. Officials at the tziyun prepared in advance and they had the necessary equipment on hand when the storm hit.

Executive Director of Chasdei Shabtai Yossi Zlikovitz stated “The pharmaceuticals, oxygen tanks and heating packs were prepared in advance. The Chasdei Shabtai organization was working 24 hours, round-the-clock to respond to calls for assistance and provide a medical response when required. 4 X 4 vehicles were used to transport responders during the storm”.
