Christie to Make 1st New Hampshire Trip Since 2014 Elections

chrisThe snow and cold isn’t keeping New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie away from the early voting state of New Hampshire as he considers a 2016 presidential run.

The Republican governor is heading to New Hampshire on Monday to speak at the Concord and Merrimack County Republican Parties’ annual Lincoln Reagan dinner.

This is Christie’s first trip to New Hampshire since the November election. Before the election, he visited the state five times to campaign with Republican gubernatorial nominee Walt Havenstein, who lost to the sitting governor, Maggie Hassan.

Christie recently delivered speeches in Illinois and Iowa, another early state in the presidential nominating process. February kicks off a string of political visits from Republicans who are deciding whether to run for president.
