Baruch Rofeh Cholim, HaRav Bentzion Boaron Shlita has been released from Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim. It appears the rav’s overall condition became weakened as a result of the Shovavim fast days and the agamas nefesh surrounding the breakup of Shas.

It is reported that while resting in the medical center the rav received requests to assist agunos and he was quite busy doing so, even from his hospital bed. He actually succeeded in persuading one recalcitrant husband to give a get, which was already done this week, releasing the women from her agunah status of several years.

The rav’s family requests that the tzibur continue being mispallel for his total recovery – Tzion Shalom ben Zina bsoch kol cholei am yisrael.
