Many feel the announced support for the Yachad party from HaRav Yitzchak Barda Shlita, represents another serious blow to the Shas party campaign. Rav Barda stood alongside HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita and announced his support for Eli Yishai and his new party. The rav made his announcement on motzei Shabbos Parshas Yisro.

During his announced, Rav Barda praised the achdus seen in Yishai’s party and he emphasized the importance of a party announcing it stands firmly behind “Kibbutz Galiyot and all that is good with Am Yisrael”.

Rav Barda stands at the helm of Mosdos Yitzchak Yeranein (יצחק ירנן) and is very well regarded in the Sephardi chareidi community.
