Har Habayis activists are fuming over two events, which they say serve as testimony to the fact that police act with discrimination on the holy site. The activists witnessed Arab youths playing soccer on the site, which is prohibited as per a Supreme Court ruling. At the same time, police arrested six Jewish youths, who according to police were disturbing the peace.

The activists explain on the one hand, police turn a blind eye regarding the Arabs but on the other hand, they enforce the law against Jews to the strictest possible interpretation. Those present stated they cannot understand why the Jewish youths, ages 14-17 were taken into custody and why the real trouble makers were ignored.

The activists add the Arabs are permitted to degrade the holy site over and over again, as well as burning the national flag and continue playing soccer in defiance of the nation’s highest court.
