Former Mossad Intelligence Agency Director Meir Dagan at a Tel Aviv University event told reporter Elena Dayan on Wednesday, 8 Shevat, that he no longer trust the leadership decisions of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. He told her “Bennett and Netanyahu are leading us to a binational state and this will result in the loss of the Zionist dream. I want to live in a Jewish nation and I do not wish to create second rate citizens. To my sorrow, six million Palestinians live between the Jordan and the Mediterranean, some Israeli citizens and they are more than the six million Jews. The direction of leadership is problematic including our good friend the United States. I have some serious questions as to the direction our nation is heading”.
Dagan expressed criticism over the prime minister’s planned address before the US House of Representatives in March despite objections from US President Barak Obama. Dagan feels that Netanyahu will not succeed in changing America’s position regarding the Iranian nuclear program.

He’s a former director, so his opinion doesn’t mean squat.
He never trusted to begin with. He’s far from a political expert.
