A swastika was found etched into glass at the Long Island Rail Road station in Cedarhurst on Monday. The defacement came only days after the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) replaced the same glass panel for the exact same reason.
One LIRR rider said that found the incidents sad rather than scary.
“Sign of the times. This happens. The economy is bad, people look for people to blame or hate,” the woman said. “Whenever economic times are bad and everything this kind of stuff flares up.”
Police and the MTA are investigating the incidents.

The reality in th 21st century is that those in America who paint swastikas are annoying, but aren’t threatening. Their bark is worse than their non-existent bite. The threat to Jews comes from Islamic terrorists and those who support/tolerate them out of a sense of political correctness. Over reacting to painted swastikas detracts from responding to the real threats to our community.
if this were election time like in november you’d hear all the local politicians up for election quickly denouncing this. but its not.
last time it was done by a frum kid, i wonder who did it this time….
more likely some OTD 5towns punk than a cedarhurst ISIS sleeper cell.
akuperma +1.
We are in golus whether we live in Israel or we live in America. And in golus we will suffer anti-semitism until the day Moshiach arrives.
#5– but the guys painting swastikas inb America are at minor annoyance, at most. The guys with guns and bombs who are a threat, are not about to paint swastikas (since it is to them, and to us, a sign of idolotry being both a western “hooked cross” as well as a religious sign in several other cultures, and Muslims are even more fanatical than we are avoiding such signs of pagan worship).
