HaGaon HaRav Yirmiyahu HaKohen, Av Beis Din Paris explained the Shabbos in the French capital was very difficult following the murder of four members of the community in the kosher supermarket terror attack. According to the HaMevaser report, tensions ran high in shuls in the city, adding police did not permit shuls to open in certain areas due to security threats.
Rav HaKohen is quoted saying “I do not stand in the place of Gedolei Yisrael but this situation compels our people to gather worldwide in a day of tefilos”.
The rav continues, drawing an analogy from Purim when there were sincere tefilos and teshuvah and Mordechai and Esther saved the nation. The rav suggests it is time for “לך כנוס כל היהודים”.

Learn to read the handwriting on the wall. It’s over. Finis! Come home now… before it’s too late!!
“…As I live, says the Lord God, surely with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with poured out fury, will I reign over you. And I shall take you out of the peoples, and I shall gather you from the lands in which you were scattered, with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with poured out fury. …And I shall separate from you those who rebel and those who transgress against Me; from the land of their sojournings I shall take them, but to the land of Israel they shall not come, and you will know that I am the Lord.” (Yechezkel 20)
Yep, and read Zechariah Perek 14 to find out what happens after we make it back to Eretz Yisrael.
It’s called chevlei Moshiach. Be careful what you ask for.
Like Eretz Yisrael is any safer than France. Right. Moving here to live a better Jewish life is one thing. Thinking that one can escape their tzoros by running to Eretz Yisrael doesn’t work. Seek the advice of a Godol and follow it.
