Israel according to foreign sources bombed Syria’s nuclear plant in Dir back in 2007. It is now reported by the German Dir Spiegel that Syrian President Dr. Bashar al-Assad has not abandoned his nuclear aspirations and there is a new nuclear facility under construction along its border with Lebanese. The report states it is based on Western intelligence documents that it received, adding Israel is unaware of the ongoing construction of the facility.
The report adds that latest satellite imagery of that area shows six different buildings, one being the entrance to the new underground nuclear facility.
