The capital on Thursday morning 17 Teves is returning to regular operations following the snow storm. In most areas accumulations were not significant, falling far below predicted accumulations. The storm remained in the realm of rain and heavy winds and it did not turn to a full snow storm as expected. The rain is expected to continue on Thursday, accompanied by unseasonably cold temperatures.
Officials in the capital announce that schools will be opening this morning. Bus service resumes on a regular weekday schedule but there are some problematic areas. Bus service to and from the Dead Sea will not resume on regular schedule. Other bus lines that will not be operating include 949, 948 and 961, buses traveling to Gush Etzion and Hebron. The 48 and 440 to Kiryat Arba is also not operating. The bus to Eilat will travel on Kvish 6. The 51 and 1 lines from Beersheva to the capital will only travel to Sussia.

Arutz Sheva reports Jerusalem schools open at 10.
dunno, but here in Yerusalyim, where I live there was about 10 to 20 cm of snow at night, now the morning, the snow is beginning to melt, but has not yet melted totally.
Somehow we all new from the weather websites that it would be mostly rain.
