New Hampshire State Police are reporting a major MVA due to icy road conditions, with between 50 – 100 vehicles involved with numerous injuries. There is a tractor trailer truck that is hauling wood chips that is on fire as well. The roadway is impassable at this time, with a full detour at Exit 24.
The crash was reported on Friday morning at around 10 a.m. on I-93 north at Exit 22, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. The DOT is not confirming the number of cars involved, but a Middleton Police Department Facebook post says the accident involves between 50 and 100 cars.
