Statement by Counsellor Israel Nitzan at UNSC on the Palestinian draft resolution:
“Mr. President,
The Palestinians have found every possible opportunity to avoid direct negotiations with Israel. They have engaged in a never-ending string of political games, and now they are parading into this Council with preposterous unilateral proposals. I have news for the Palestinians – you cannot agitate and provoke your way to a state. I urge the Council to stop indulging the Palestinians and put an end to their march of folly.
Thank you, Mr. President.”

Isn’t that what the Israelis did to get a state in 1947? They were so troublesome to the Brits that they needed more British soldiers in Palestine than they had been using in India, or were in Europe to help keeps the Soviets in line (somewhat compounded by be unwilling to station colonial forces in Palestine for feat they would get the idea of going home and becoming annoying). The Israelis murdered random British soldiers, blew things up, etc. And in 1947 the UN voted to give them a state (and since the zionists don’t want to rely on Torah, that UN resolution is the basis of the Israeli claim for a right to a medinah).
#1’s accusatory (and probably conspiratorial) comment should not have been allowed thru moderation. The comparison of Zionist to terrorist is where you should draw the line for yourself.
