State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver is reportedly being investigated by the federal government for payments made to him by a small law firm.
Sources tell the New York Times, the law firm Goldberg & Iryami, P.C. paid the undisclosed amount of money over a decade, but Silver did not list the income on his financial disclosure forms as required.
Both the FBI and Silver’s office declined to comment.
According to the Times, the law firm also donated thousands to Silver’s campaigns over the years.
Silver, who is also a lawyer, has been the focus of federal investigations before, but none resulted in charges.

This is the net result of supporting toeiva and other iniquitous laws while parading oneself as being “frum”.
While guilt by association is not a valid legal concept, note that he is know to be a manager of a known house of ill repute (pictured in the background of your picture, on an infamous hill in Albany), and that he tends to associate with known criminals, many of whom also hang out in the “chateau” in the picture, not to mention buildings used for similar dubious purposes elsewhere.
I hope this bizayon of a “frum” leader finally goes down, one who has stopped tuition relief singlehandidly and supports “alternative lifestyles”, mamosh a bizayon, lehavdil the pope would represent the frum community better than he.
Sheldon Silver is a tzadik who has helped more frum yidden than you will ever know. You will be judged for your disgusting behavior at your yom hadin but Mr. Silver won’t be able to help you then.

First, I am not a friend or acquaintance of Sheldon Silver and am not associated with any institutions. All frum people in New York State has benefited from Sheldon Silver, including you.
No politician in New York State is able to change or pass the obvious “liberal” legislation that interests us. Accordingly, if Sheldon Silver is able to make deals that benefits frum yiden, all the best to him.
Mr. Silver is a shomer Torah and mitzvos and is koveia eetim; you have no better hashkafos than he and he seeks eitzos of gedolim. So again, unless mechila is asked of Mr. Silver, I would be very worried if I were in your skins.
There is not a single godol in the world who will tell you he approves of Silver’s political machinations and legislation.
