Secretary of the Shas Moetzas Gedolei Hatorah Yoav Bentzur announced the Torah council rejects the letter of resignation submitted by party leader MK Aryeh Deri. The rabbonim shlita stand firmly behind Deri and are express their commitment to stand by him and advise him in any and all matters.
I his response, Deri explained “It is a most difficult time”, adding that he is still contemplating resigning as a Member of Knesset.
