Let the sephardim join with Yahadut Hatorah. Why have all this machlokess? (wishful thinking) If the sephardim can’t get along then there is no point in having a separate party. They only made Shas when they weren’t being properly represented, but if they split they lose power anyway.
The question that is being asked is two-fold???
1. Do we ask Eli Yishai to take over & will he accept?
2. Who can/will replace Deri? Or is this a total political maneuver?
Total political manoeuvre by Deri. Just the same as the Sephardi Rabbonim meeting in Rav Ovadias’s home and then walking over to Deri’s apartment when they knew he was out. Pure politics.
