In response to the publication of the ongoing Israel Police investigation into high-level government corruption that involves over 30 suspects, including a number of senior Yisrael Beitenu officials, the Knesset Channel visited Bat Yam and asked members of the Russian-speaking community how they feel. The Knesset Channel correspondent interviewed adult Russian-speaking voters to see how they feel. Many feel that party leader Avigdor Lieberman is correct in his allegations that the timing of the publication of the ongoing investigation is politically motivated.
Knesset Channel adds that if elections were held today, 40% of adult Russian-speaking voters would vote Yisrael Beitenu as opposed to only 31% two weeks ago. That means since the publication of the ongoing police investigation, the party has gone up in the polls and not down, at least among the Russian speaking voting public.
